Annandale has many places where you can view, appreciate and exhibit your own piece of art. Among these is the Annandale Galleries. The building underwent several changes before its conversion into an art gallery. It was built as a Masonic Hall in 1920, and it was also used as a Methodist church.
Today, Annandale Galleries aims to show the best works of contemporary artists from foreign, Australian and aboriginal. Art shows range from prosaic photography, painting, sculptures, art publication, abstract and Avant Garde designs and materials.
Exhibits are open Wed – Fri 11:00 – 5:00 pm, Sat 12:00 – 4:00 pm (unless otherwise indicated on their site)
