Taste Australia

One of the best ways to appreciate your travels is to experience the food enjoyed by locals. In Queensland, residents delight in a popular alcoholic drink, Bundaberg Rum, a sweet rum brewed with sugar cane.

A product of Bundaberg Distilling company, Bundaberg Rum was first produced in 1888 by a collaboration of the big sugar mill owners of that time. It is made from molasses, a waste product of sugar milling.

Locals refer to it as “bundy” and it is their go-to-chill rum. Sweet and flavour rich!
